Purpose
| The British Institute of Embalmers, the
largest organization of its type devoted entirely to the embalming profession,
was established to promote the professional and educational advancement of
embalming, and to elevate its professional members to new heights of service and
professional performance in the embalming theatre.
The Society was established to support and protect the status, character, and interests of persons professing or practicing the art and science of embalming. The BIE promotes the proficient education of persons seeking to study and practice the said art and science. It encourages the membership to attend and participate in lectures and seminars for the mutual exchange of information and changes within the profession. |
